Here follows a list of some of the more memorable songs in my catalogue, which currently stretches back over 30yrs and about a thousand titles. I know that sounds like a lot, but if you do the maths, it equates to about one a fortnight, with occasional flourishes. In reality, the most I have ever written is six songs in a morning, and the least about three in a year. Like so many of the more important things in life, songwriting, is anything but a precise science.
