Well that about wraps it up for 2008...
This is just a short note to say thanks to everyone who came along to the gigs and leant much appreciated support - from
all you
occasional visitors to all you stalwarts, you know who you are. Thanks in the main go to my family for supporting my efforts
to be both creative and professional about what I do, and for still leaving a light on to come home to.
At this point I have no immediate plans for 2009 as far as gigging goes, so there are no dates to list on this occasion.
Which makes it all the more important that you know how to be kept up to date with where I am performing.
The RSS and Google buttons at the top of the site
will connect to a new feed which carries dates and other news. But by far and away the best route to contact me these days is by email
- enquiries@davidcday.co.uk - drop me a line and I'll keep you up to
date.
Where you won't find me is on Ents24 any more: despite sending them gigs, they were never emailed to anyone
as Carlisle events, even on nights when there was nothing else on! Other local artists beware. Guess they just need
a bit more time to perfect their system.
Lastly, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year and Prosperous 2009. Far from being words
chosen simply out of tradition, I sincerely hope that you each can find a way to keep going and keep hopeful in 2009
despite certain oncoming difficulties. Sometimes you just need to keep going - because you never quite know what
tomorrow may bring forth...
